About Charlie's Path
Charlie's Path is a free walking journal and progress tracker for the King Charles III England Coast Path, the National Trail that will eventually run some 2,700 miles around the coast of England.
The chart is your own record of the coast. Upload a GPX file or your Strava archive and Charlie's Path matches the ground you covered to the official route. You can also paint older walks in by hand. Keep notes and photos in your logbook, and use the field guide to record the birds, seals and lighthouses you find along the way.
Route data follows Natural England's official stretch openings. The chart covers 2,689 miles today. Coast not yet mapped is shown dotted at its published length, with Stour and Furness next. Your percentage changes as more of the path opens.
It's a journal first and a tracker second. There are no leaderboards and nobody checking. Like a Wainwright record, it's kept on trust. It works in any browser, continues working offline on the trail, and your GPS traces never leave your device.
Charlie's Path is an independent project, not affiliated with Natural England or National Trails.
